U7135...Challenger SRT8.."Please Power Cycle the Tool t

I have the U7135 and the latest firmware in the tool is v.9r17. I attempted to update the predator. I downloaded the latest drivers, DS Downloader 2.2.1.7 and got the latest crom update (9r23a). I installed DS Downloader 2.2.1.7 and followed the instructions to update with the latest crom software.

I go to Express Tune Mode, select the file and a window pops up titled "Diablosport Firmware Download", download instructions and in the window it states to " Please Power Cycle the Tool to continue".

I power cycle the tool and it reboots...meanwhile the DS Downloader 2.2.1.7 locks up..nothing happens and I have to ctrl-alt-delete and kill the service. I have done this numerous times and cannot figure out why it keeps locking up.

IF using USB-Serial adapter cable; did you install the correct drivers that came with the adapter? The drivers installed with DS Downloader are for Trinity. There are additional setup instructions here: http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... ic&t=20349

Also, need to run DSDL with admin privileges.

Had the same problem couldnt figure out what was 'power cycle the tool'. So finally after about 20 trys when it got to the point where it says power cycle the tool I simply unplugged the power chord from the predator and pluged it back in and it continued with downloading my updates, dont know if that is they way you do it but it worked for me. Hope this helps
