Before I buy: Q's on monitoring and EGT

I have a bone stock 2004.5 and have been researching tuners, looking to purchase the Trinity. My goals are first economy, then a little performance. My Q's are regarding what I should be monitoring and if the Trinity is capable of ACCURATE monitoring. Also, I don't know what stock sensors are already on the truck.

Boost
EGT
Lift pressure
Rail pressure
Timing
???

I have looked at the EGT kit ($200), but wasn't sure if I needed it for my 2004.5. If I get a standalone EGT gauge, then it would not interface with the Trinity for monitoring/warning.

It does monitor Boost, it can monitor EGT if you add an EGT set up, it does show rail pressure, and timing, not 100% sure in lift pressure, have to check that out...

Any 0-5V EGT setup with an analog output will work with the Trinity

I've been looking at the Trinity as a possibility for my 03' cummins, but I have a question. Does the Trinity have a Turbo Timer built into it? If so, does it operate strictly off of EGT's or can you set it to shut down after a certain period of time? I saw someone post that the Trinity measures rail pressure, which was my other question.

No, it does not have a built in turbo timer.

It does monitor Rail Pressure, along with many other PIDs.
