Lew, all the settings are like we agreed. the ltft's need no adjustments and I ran two WOT's today and the engine seemed to cut off in third going to fouth at about 90 miles per hour, the second run more pronounced than the first run. I have done a log redux and it tells me that it has excessive knock retard. I have sent to the files B and C that are WOT 1 and 2 and CC that is a normal run showning ltft's do not need adjusting. Please let me know what I should do?
Thanks, Dom

your problem area is right at the 4600-5700 rpm range....
I'd go another -3 on the spark advance setting for that area....

thanks! I'll try that and let you know, Lew, I appreciate it. I'll do a -6 at the high rpm range.

Oh, and I'm using the "bb" version of the tune and have 91 octane gas in it, multiple tanks worth now so the 87 stuff is long gone.

It almost feels as if the fuel gets cut off. When it happens the rpm's drop sharp, does that sound about right?

no.. not the crom version, hehe... the tune.... which tune are you using.. the Diablo Tune, or the 87 Octane Tune....
so with 91 octane gas, you're probably using the Diablo Tune...
it's not Shell gas, is it?? you want good gas from like mobil, exxon, sunoco, amoco, bp, chevron....

No, I use Chevron or Mobil, so the gas is fine. I played with the settings a bit and now and no more knock and the truck is down to 7.8 seconds to 60, (not too bad for a 4x4 LTZ with a spray in liner, bed extender and a snugfit locking top, I guess), but I really want to break the low sevens or even into the 6's, but I can't break this empty spot aroung 2.5K and 3.5K, before that and after 4.5K and to redline, it pulls like a bull. So I keep the revs up, it's nice, but with auto mode, it does great first two gears, start to drop alot in third and fouth is anemic, but I'm already over 100mph at that point. It also doesn't seem to make a difference either with or without traction control active. I must confess, I drove Z06 as my daily driver before the lease was up and I went to a truck! (What was I thinking, huh??). The thing feels like it just doesn't get enough "fuel" sometimes. I know Chevy set it up for 2010 for a little more low end torque, but (if I can be childish), screamrev, screamrev, bwaaaaa, slow rev, then I ususally run out of room. I understand about the gearing in six speed trannys so save time typing. How do I dial in a little more giddyup? It's really promising the wonders of the Diablo and I really hope you folks dial in tranny lockups for the hydramatic six speeds, it would really be a great improvement!
Thanks for all your time, Lew and rest of the moderators that have helped me so much!@

Also, I'm going to +5 on the injector slope tomorrow and I'll see if and what difference that makes. I should still be in the -2 to zero range. Should I be closer to -2 or to zero, by the way? Also, please explain EXACTLY what power enrichment is and does. I'd really like to incorporate that in the plan. And I haven't even screwed witht he Escalade yet!!! Wait till you guys help with that one!!
