i have a 2006 v6 mustang and i installed my jlt CAI and i tuned it for that specific one on the tuner and i did all the steps and it told me i can unplug the tuner and start the car. well i tried starting the car and it wont turn over ..it doesnt do anything. what is wrong? i tried to program the factory tune and it reads unable to read vehicle type 1. now there is that mode where i can force tune it to i guess factory tune. but it warns me that a dealership should do this. what do i do? please help! thank you

try disconnecting the negative battery cable for about 20 minutes... then reconnect it and see if she'll turn over...

Im having the exact same problem with a 2005 v6 mustang. Installed 87 octane tune for C&L intake, install went fine but now the predator reads "unable to read vehicle type 1". The car WILL NOT start which is really scaring me. It wont let me reinstall the factory tune either. I tried disconnecting the negative battery terminal for an hour but that didnt work(and yes i reconnected it). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same issue my 2003 mach 1 - unable to install tune - car wont start just cranks and cranks. The tuner does not recognize the the car Im headed to a road rally tomorrow need help

Also the car is flashing theft and wont show the milage

This is for a Predator not a Trinity but found this thread using search and was similar to my situation.

Was wondering how it worked out for the others.

2003 Mach 1, U7146 9r09...I'm having the same issue with my car now after I installed a tune...When I went to start the car it cranks but there's no fuel since I usually can hear it with my Boost-A-Pump and just doesn't seem right.

I figured I'd restore the original backup but when I plugged the Predator back in to see what was up. Says it is unable to read vechicle type with "-----------" on the odometer and the cooling fan runs like when you are tuning it...I've checked all the fuses, disconnected the battery overnight, I tested the OBDII port and the tuner says it's working...I tested my Predator on my other vehicle to see if it could read an DTCs and it worked, so I guess something else is wrong so, probably the PCM...I've read that I'd could try and Force the original factory tune but need a password...I hope this works...

Oh yea...I called tech support at 3 pm and 4 pm EST yesterday but was on hold forever...is there a good time to call or day or doesn't it really matter?

If forcing it doesn't work would I need to send in my PCM and Predator to Diablor?

Help!!! I just got the same problem with my '01 after the eaton swap tune upload. The vehicle will not start, and the pedator no longer reads the cumputer.

You'll have to wait until monday when the guys are back in the office man...

i installed the modify stock program fan ran and odometer had lines threw it program installed great ran great wanted to put stock program in and had issue loaded upfine and all said unplug reader so i did and fan and odometer stood the same fan running and odometer had lines threw it car wont start and theft light is on please help

Yea had this issue last week you guy said sent it to us meaning programmer and my ecu got it back tonight and thought shit would be good but no theft light blinking and hear alot of clicking car cranks no go thou kinda pissed the thing sat for over a week and I still can't drive it thought it help to put the modify stock tune in and went fine but yet again I can't set it back to original need help asap please all me 8607481851 whenever you can please and thank you
