Challenger RT v. Camaro SS

One feature about the 6.2 Camaro automatic I particularly like is that it takes off in 2nd gear from a standing stop or gentle crawl when in manual override mode.

Are there any plans to add this feature to the U7135? I would really find it useful on my Challenger RT.

It shifts to second almost immediately at light throtle. No need for a second gear start. We only have 5 to play with.

Yes Mike, thanks, but what I would like is to eliminate 1st gear when using the autostick in the Challenger.

Just bump the shifter to the right when stopped. It will start in 2nd gear.

I think some people have had the Mopar TCM working in a 2008 Challenger before. With my Mopar TCM when I am at a stop I can only select first or second, and it will actually start out in whichever one I select.

my 09 challenger rt from time of purchase I was able to take off in second just by bumping the lever to the right from being in manuel 1st at a stop., didnt need DS top do that.
