So i have playing with my fuel trims, but bank 1 is 3 points lower than bank 2. Is this normal? What causes this.
EX Bank 1 4.69
bank 2 1.69
Thanks

yeah, they won't be exactly the same... no worries...
just make it so the lowest value isn't more than -2.xxx....

I have also asked this question in the past and after Monty's reply am even more confused. I thought the way to set the trim was to add bank one to bank two and divide by two to get a average. Then adjust this average number. In this case (+1.69) + (+4.69) = +6.38 divide by two = +3.19. I assume then he would adjust this number by -4.00 giving him a -.81 results. But then the individual banks would be -2.31 and +.69. Monty, could you please enlighten us?

right... so then the individual banks would be correct... the lowest one is at -2.31 ... so it's right in that 0 to -2.xx range... good to go
doesn't matter if that other bank is still a little positive...
use DSLogRedux... it does all the work/calculating for you...
