Recent Chrysler/Dodge Dealership PCM Flash

I own a 2009 Auto R/T Challenger and it is having some warranty work done on the power steering lines tomorrow.I am going to reload my stock factory tune back into the car before I take it in for service and remove the Predator canned 91 Octane/CAI tune.

Now,I have heard that if the dealership should happen to flash the Challenger's computer with their most recent updates for the car that it will result in my Predator not being able to upload any tunes or other adjustments.

Can anyone please verify if this is fact and if so has Diablosport created the proper updates for the U7135 Predator to side step this issue.

Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks

I just did the same to my 6spd rt ,i just told the dealer i did not any updates , or reflash to my car .When i got it back plugged predator in and it worked Perfect,as it did before.

It is your car. Your property. If you tell them you don't want them to touch the PCM they will respect that. Updates aren't compulsory. It's your call.

That's what I said... .no touchy the PCM / ECU... they were cool about it. That said the original question is still there? I've mostly heard no, but kind of yes.... While I think not, I'm also not positive if there is a com for the new 5.7 CAL or not? It'd be kind of nice to know for sure I guess... until then I'm going to assume no...
