I recently purchased a Predator U7186 and I have heard you can download\purchase off the internet software for another compadable Duramax without buying another predator? Just wondering. I have only had it on my truck for a day so I will have to update my experience.

The Moderators will have to know which year Duramax you have. The early 07's/Classic body style will have the LBZ motor in them. If you have the new body style then you will have the LMM motor. Have you plugged the tuner in and tried it out yet? If you have you really don't need any updates as for now.

There is no option like that, but the tool can be unlocked for $129, but then you cant restore the stock tune to the first vehicle.
