U7198 newest version
2001, Silverado, 5.3L
Does anyone know what settings to tweek to get the supercharger running well enough to drive? Have the m112 installed but I would like to be drivable until I can get to the dyno shop. i believe 42# green tips are standard with this kit.

You NEED a custom tune to get it going...

RE: 5.3L maggie charger question?
Bummer, guess I'm walking for a bit
RE: 5.3L maggie charger question?
that should have been a factor when ordering the kit?? should have known it had to go to the dyne with that much of a bolt on

RE: 5.3L maggie charger question?
Isn't there a way to get the Magnacharger canned tune from the superchips handheld that comes with the kit? And then copy it onto your Predator?
RE: 5.3L maggie charger question?
Reinstall stock tune and then send the ECM to Magnachager and have them flash thier tune?

yeah i wouldnt drive it with 42 pounders in there, you will wash the cylinders man. bad news. until you have a tune with set parameters for those injectors, regardless of FI, dont drive it.
if you HAD to, you could install the charger and leave old injectors in, and putt it to the shop. change the bigger injectors when you get there. as long as you arent getting in any boost, the FI wont hurt anything. FI -- forced induction.
cool ? otherwise your PC is commanding a percentage of flow for the stock injector (29ish lbs) depending on year model... and that same % flow on the 42's will wash the cylinder
