ENGINE LIGHT with P1040 injector timeing issue 4 out of six

I took my truck to the dealer they plugged it in and told me 4 out of six injectors had a timing issue reset my light. I turned my puck to 50% and light came on again. Now my question is since it was such a pain in the ass to modify the rail valve do I need to take the shims out when I eliminate the puck? MIKE or JOHAN please chime in. Now I have great respect for your product but more respect for my 54000.00 dollar truck ...............

No, the shims actually help with or wirthout the puck, so they can stay.

Removed everything including the shims went to the dealer had the engine light reset pulled away and light came right back on. Please tell me the puck didn't mess up my new truck.

No, it did not.

If you search it, you'll find that 06-07 Cummins have lots of injector issues....

Cool brother that is why I held on to my 06 for 5 years hoping shit would be worked out by the time I got a 6.7. Thanks Mike lmk when you get a programmer for the 2010.
