Quick question anybody may be able to answer

I just purchased a cable to allow me to plug my Predator into my pc. The Predator does not power up and my pc does not read anything from it. I am FAR from any computer wiz. What's up with all this? I'm attempting to send a log but I don't have a clue what to do. I appreciate any help. Thanks

you need the power adapter to power up the tunner

if you have a laptop, i believe that you can just plug in the cable to the vehicle, that will supply power to the device, then plug the Serial to USB cable into the Predator, etc.....

Ok, that explains it. I don't have a laptop or a power adapter. Thanks y'all.
