Should I try this? I have a custom tune cause the Diablo one did something a lil' funny w/my truck. I have been cruising for a while. After doing it would Isend my results back in to Diablo and they then send something back?

Thanx.

"I have a custom tune cause the Diablo one did something a lil' funny w/my truck."

Could you explain the "lil' funny" part and the "custom tune" and maybe some additional details?

Something where you drive your vehicle around and the predatory keeps track of timing/fuel stuff/?/etc. to see if you truck is getting the best tune it can.

I think.

If I floored it or gave it 2/3(?)-ish throttle, and i took my foot off of the gas, the vehicle would keep accelerating as if my foot stayed floored/2/3 throttle.

Thanx.

Hmm sounds kinda like what mine did! I have an 04,and the allison doesn't like any tranny changes which the diablo tune does.I had lew write me a sweeeet custom tune...if you have a laptop, use the pc interface kit and log with dataviewer.or use dataviewer to get the log off the predator.

Hello Monte. I have not forgotten this, I am just in the process of getting headers & a better exhaust, so I am waiting to do the data logging at that time.

thanx again

I just took it from stock and tried the 87 octane tune, it did the staying floored thing as well. I put it back to stock. I do notice a boost from stock I must say. If I do the data logging before the headers, can I have it adjusted after-wards? Since I can't use the Diablo tunes on my truck, and I am the original buyer, do I have to pay the $105 for the custom tune?

Thanx Monte.

yeah, we can readjust the fueling and what not once you get headers put on, no problem...

ummm, yeah to the 105... diablosport does not do custom tuning... that is my own separate side-business, for me, just like being a tech support "consultant" for them is my 2nd job (my regular job is an internet/web developer), and doing custom tuning is my 3rd job... so yeah... hehe...
