predator u7137x version 2.2.1.9
2008 dodge ram 4.7
bought one unit and it was a 2 day epic failure even after talking to tech support. figured wth ill trade it for a new one. got home updated everything like tech support told me to on the first unit i had. ( v.9r08) installed it on my truck and wah-la... no control of my throttle, idle jumping up and down from 300 rpm to 1800-rpm, " check gauges " lit up on my dash. seriously guys ? wtf? the last 3 tuners i bought for my vehicles was a simple update and boom... extra power and fuel mileage. Ive wasted 3 days driving back and forth from my house to summit racing, 3 hours on the phone with tech support and still i got shit. wasted $$ . you gonna reimburse me my time for your epic failure on the product you boast about ? doubt it. ill make one more trip to summit to return your junk ass "tuner" that has caused me nothing but headache.

Will this programmer work with 4.7 Durango's and Dakota's? I ask because other brands 4.7L 05-10 Ram Tuners do.
Would love to try it on my 2008 4.7L Dakota. The Predator for my Challenger has been well worth the money.
Thanks,
Mike

Guys I feel your pain. I had the same problems with mine. Replaced my tuner 2 times, but the 3rd was the charm. Thanks to Vas from tech support. He's the man to talk too. Very helpful and patience. The other guys need to take notice.

I also would like to know the answer to this one- I'm pretty sure I could sell a lot of these to Durango guys!

It is something we are looking at.
Predator is full though, it would have to be Trinity only...

I am having the same issues with my Predator that seem to be documented here:
Updated to 9r12 (came with 9r11) and installed the 87 performance tune on an 08 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 4.7L engine.
After installing the tune we get the same issues:
no throttle response at all, "check gauges" light and surging idle.
Do I need to return the tuner for another? Is there something I can tweak to fix it? Is this a common enough issue that I should return the customers money and return the tuner??
please help!
Thanks!!
