Code P0231 On 85 Tune

Not sure if I'm supposed to post this again but I never got a response back from my last post regarding it so here it is. That Fuel Pump error shows up when on the 85 tune, not there on the tow tune. I have heard "rumours" that this could be a sign that my fuel pump is on the way out?? Sherm

Some good info there...looks like it could be a pump, relay, or switch issue.

But, if its never done it before installing the tune and dosen't do it with the tow tune, is there a problem??? This hasn't come up before? Sherm

It could be a case where the tune is taxing the pump or relay.

So any suggestions in that case? I too believe thats what it is and would like to rectify "it" before something just quits on it. I also assume becase that error dosen't show up on the tow tune that it would be fine to use that tune all the time without fear of breakdown. Appreciate the input...........Sherm
