U7170 - Economy tune and adjusting speed limiter

I have a U7170 (v.7r19d) and normally run the 65 hp tune for economy on my '02 Ex 7.3. However, I would also like to be able to adjust the speed limiter such that I can set it lower when others are using the truck.

Is it possible with the tuner I have?

Not with the Predator, but we could write a custom tune to do it.

Hi, it is now somewhat more complicated. I had the truck in to the dealer for some adjustment and I loaded the original tune back before I took it in. Now the dealer has done some changes, and I have probably made it worse with trying to bring it back. When I read the VIN with the Predator it shows a different serial number (lloks like the serial number of the programmer the dealer used). Can I load the original backup which is stored on my Predator to bring the truck back to to where it was? Can I just load it in or do I need to do something special.

If you loaded the stock tune befroe you went to the dealer, then there is nothing to load...

Sounds like maybe you did not restore the stock tune first??

I was hoping the original tune was stored in the Predator even when I loaded the stock back in the truck before I took it to the dealer. When I downloaded the files to my PC I got one that was called backup.frd and one called tnaa4y2.frd. Both are 256kb. Can any of those be used? How can I check?

I now got everything sorted out and the 60HP Predator tune loaded back in the truck.

To add the speed limiter adjustment you asked for a copy of the tune. Which tune do I post? Is it the original backup or do I read off the 60 hp that is in the truck now?

Also. Is the 60 hp tune the best economy tune for a stock 02 Excursion 7.3? I bought my Predator in 2006.
