I installed the 91 OCT Tune and the car wouldnt start. I then installed the factory tune and again the car won't start. The engine cranks but won't turn over. Please help. Thanks

Try disconnecting the battery?

I disconnected the battery and cleared the trouble codes and still won't start.
I bought the tuner used from a guy that used it on an '05 GT, doers that have anything to do with the problem?

It shouldn't, but it is tough to say without having been there....sounds like the car needs a factory reflash.

Got the car reflashed today at the Ford Dealer. This is probably a stupid question, but, is it safe to try the tuner?

I would wait to try it during their business hours, so if something doesn't work, you'll be able to call them...

if you do it now and it doesn't work right, you're SOL...

I was told that it may work now that the car was flashed with the most recent factory flash?? Have you heard of this??? THanks

I just had a similar situation happen with a recently purchased used Predator. My 2006 Mustang GT automatic won't start as well. Anti-theft had been triggered and red theft light flashing. Here is where my situation differs though. I had my car towed to a place where I had work done to it before and I'm friends with the guy who runs the joint. He has a guy who does all of his vehicle computer work and tried to re-flash my cars computer system. He told my guy that the predator corrupted my car's computer so bad that it's ruined and needs to be replaced. I really don't believe this is true because the guy spent like 20 minutes on the attempt before coming to his conclusion and I remember once getting a new spare key reprogrammed at the Ford Dealership and it taking longer than 20 minutes to do that. My question is this, and you may or may not be able to answer but I'll ask anyway, do you think the Predator did or even can fry my cars computer system, or do I have to take it only to a Ford Dealership to get it re-flashed. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That's what I believe. Car is at the dealership now waiting to be serviced. I'll keep ya updated, thanks a mill for the response and info.

Well just a quick update, dealership said they re-flashed my PCM but the anti-theft is still on and wont go off. They all so said that it is showing strange codes that they've never seen before. They'll keep working on it but it's not looking good.

FWIW, thats just not a good answer.
Have they tried reprogramming the keys for the PATS system?
If they somehow decide you need a new PCM, I'd like to take a shot at it before you fork over any cash
