We have never seen any such proof of this, its more of a paranoia thing on the part of the Camaro5.com guys.

We have sold hundreds of Predators and Trinitys to 5th gen Camaros, with NO warranty issues.

GM can verify it in newer vehicles. (IE 2009-2010 Model years+) that have newer ECM's that have a counter and keep record of how many times it was flashed and cannot be reset. Some newer Camaro's and 2009.5 G8's have this.

However, older cars, (GTO, TBSS, etc etc) this is not recorded. However, no matter what, GM could run a check and see if your callid matches a set of know calid's for your vehicle from GM. If it doesn't match they can deny you warranty. Checking Callid's is literally written in procedure book for any engine or transmission warranty book for V8's. The nice thing with the Trinity though or Predator... flash..and *poof* back to stock :D. Even then, it depends on your dealer and what they do but it's within their power to.

Not calids, you are thinking of CVNs. Even with the Pred or Trinity tune installed, the CVN (nor the calids) do not change.

See how this stuff can go back and forth?
