my friend used to have the diablo tune on his corvette c6 LS3 then he had to get it back to the stock tune because he had a cam on the car and had it for a dyno tune. the problem here is that my friend didn't chouse the option ( original backup ) and choused the modifed stock.so now when i wanted to use it for my corvette LS2 2007 it says it's not liciened for this vichel.

the question here is : since the last tune was the stock modify on the car does this mean that the diablo tune is in the predator? if yes what will happend if i install the original stock tune back to my friend car will i get the predator valid to use again with the diablo tune in it ?

For Your help guys
Thanks

that tool is still locked to his vehicle... and you can not use it to tune your car unless he selects the "original backup" tune in order to restore the original backup stock tune to his car... if he does that, it will unlock and reset the tool and you'll be able to use it...

after i select the original backup the predator will reset but how can i be sure that the diablo tune is back in the predator since he dyno tune the car and all diablo things in the car has been replaced with the new tune.

when the restore operation is done correctly, the tool unlocks and resets back to it's original, like-new state...

any custom tunes or changes settings are erased/cleared, and the normal preset canned diablo tunes are back in the tune menu...

so, as long as the original backup is restored correctly, that tool is good to go.

you paid $400 for it???? you got ripped if you did man...

could have gotten it brand new, all up to date on the latest revision, from an authorized diablosport vendor, with the 2-year warranty, for about $289... heh...
