previous owner installed predator

I recently purchased a used 2010 jeep srt8, and when I tried to install my new pedator(u7135) i got a message that my car was married to a predator already. The previous owner must of purchased a predator and installed it w/ the car. I did not get the predator with purchase and have no way of getting ahold of the old owner. I was wondering if anything could be done? Is there a way to use the new predator? or am I out of luck. I was hoping to get a custom tune from johan in the near future. Am I stuck with the old predator tune?

Have the PCM flashed by the dealer. That'll clear it out.

PCM flash they might not even charge you, it's a 5 min job. The only issue I'm thinking of, is if you still have warranty, I've heard dealers will turn down\take away your warranty over Predator tunes.

Where are you from? I just bought a U7135 off CraigsList from PA some where. The programmer still has a VIN in it. Reply with your VIN, if it is the same we could help eachother out...(you need program off and I need programmer un-married or sold if you want it)..stab in the dark but worth a shot.

Is a PCM flash the only option? My DSP was stolen when someone tried to steal my truck and I have another one in the mail. I have the original factory tune backed up. Is there a way to marry my vin to the DSP with the original file?
