U7165 Not Starting up?

I recently purchased the U7165 for my 2005 F350 6.0.. The problem I have is when I plug the Predator into my diagnostic plug, nothing will show up on my Predator screeen, it doesn't start up.. Is it supposed to start automatically, or do I have to press some button? I just put two fresh batteries in the truck, so thats not the problem.

Check the fuse for the cigarette lighter, sounds like the fuse may be blown.

hmmm. well I bought it off ebay, and it didn't come with any ac chargers or USB.. Is there a predator adapter supposed to plug into the cigarette lighter also? Thanks!

no, the Predator is supposed to power up when plugged into the OBD-II port.

The fuse that powers up the cig. lighter also powers up the OBD-II port.
