I have an 07 charger r/t, afe stage II, slp cat-back, and predator tuner. I was considering running around town and data-logging with the predator but all of my friends recommended a true dyno tune instead. They were saying that a dyno tune would be able to measure and adjust many more parameters than our predators do. They all said I would see a higher hp/torque gain from the dyno than just using the predator. Is this true? How much horsepower should I expect from a dyno tune (money is short I'm sure you all know)? The best price I could get around the Ft. Lauderdale, Fl area was $150 for about 7 pulls and a custom CMR tune. Is this worth it? Please help me out guys, thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, and how important is this whole catch-can thing? I can see both sides of the argument here, but would it be necessary in my setup?
Thanks guys.

RE: Regarding a Dyno Tune
do yourself a favor, get the catch can first, then log it, and if it looks like you need a tune, then go from there.
For your mods, I cant imagine a custom tune being necessary.

RE: Regarding a Dyno Tune
Thanks for the help! How will I know if I need a tune after data-logging it though? I don't really know how to interpret the log well enough to reach a conclusion. If I do need to make adjustments on the tune, is that something I do through the tuner, or do I have to export the tune to you guys and then you modify it and send it back to me? What catch can would you recommend, I assume they're all the same more or less, but is there a brand that is cheaper or more efficient? Again, thanks for the help.
RE: Regarding a Dyno Tune
With your mods the RWHP should around 320 with a CMR tune...I'd get a catch can before you get it tuned...
