ecm shuts off on shift

went to the track after putting fuel injection back on my car. It is a stock a9l with a chip. Shuts of on shift, 8300 shift point. Was told there is an upgrade for the ecu??????

8300rpm? Thats pretty sick!
I have seen issues where there was a loose ground that would cause the car to shut off during shifts...not sure if that is whats happening here.
I think you may be referring to an upgrade to a crystal in the PCM, but I would not know where to send you for that.

yes, 8300. Its a NMRA P/S car. I was told to call Kevin tomorrow. It is an upgraded crystal. Do you know of a # for Kevin or should I just call the main #. Thanks
