Hey guys I've had my predator for about two weeks now i'm running the performance tune. I noticed a big difference on the first install but i still want more power. i've looked through most of the post and i can't find the specific adjustments or there over my head. I've got a 5.3 Z with a K&N CAI, AirRaid TBS, and Duel Exhaust what can i do to get more power and better MPG? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks David

Yea get a custom Diablew tune. I have the same mods as you do. You wont see much improvement throught the first 2 or 3 diablew tunes but by the time Lew gets done with it, it will have a lot more giddy up in the low end in my opinion. Shaved nearly a whole second off 0-60. He really knows what he's doing. Well worth the $ and he will make any other adjustments that may be need in the future when you purchase the tune.

Thanks lew. It sounds pretty good, but i have one more question. The predator itself gave me about a 1.5-2 mpg better and noticeably amout of more power, but will the custom really give me much more? And also i understood that any adjustments of a tune would be fixed by you as long as i have it. Right? and i would like a performance and a towing tune, would i have to buy two tunes of can they easily be adjusted? Thanks

hehe.. .yes, there will be more power/performance over the canned preset tunes....
yes, if you ever change or upgrade anything on that same vehicle, I will re-adjust the tune as needed, no additional cost to you... but, within certain limitations... hehe... such as, but not limited to - I don't do turbos/superchargers via email tuning - for stuff like that, you need to get on a dyno to get it tuned and dialed in correctly... etc etc..
no need for two separate tunes for performance and towing... one tune can and will cover both...

Alright can you restore the truck back to stock without losing your custom tune? and can you remove the speed limiter? if so i'll contact you in the morning.

the way any handheld works is, once you restore the original backup to the vehicle, the tool gets reset and unlocked - which also means, it erases any and all custom tunes that were in it...
so you would just need to import the custom tune file back into the predator again, and then reinstall to the vehicle... no biggie..
and yes, speed limiter can be jacked up to a speed you'll never reach, hehe...
