2005 F-350/cant update to newest version

ok 2005 F-350 this is a friend of mine im trying to help out he has a predator U7165 now he had the truck at the dealership it was reflashed or updated due to the turbo lag (this is what he told me) i was able to put the R84 revision on but it wont let me update any further...I tried going to the next one up which is the R10 that one dosent work the unit rebooted and said it was updated improperly go to previous version....so I did that and tried going to newest revision and its not even downloading into the unit...it starts to and then it freezes up the downloader......any help u can give me would be great or if you have a crom file that will work with his truck please

oh forgot to add this...am using a sewell cable usb to the unit i found the right drivers for it but dont know if thats an issue or not just seen this in other posts

you need to restore the stock tune before you can update past the 7r84 version.

ok how do i go about doing the restore to stock tune is that plugging it into the truck and setting it back to factory setup???? or do i need to reset the predator somehow or a different crom????Im sorry mike as i said earlier its not my truck im just trying to help out my friend who dosent know how to use a computer lol

ok so he plugged it in this morning and it booted up but it gave him this code Calid ARZ2AL11 then VXCF9DB.HEX* and TQCK0DD.HEX* and it stopped and didnt go any further and my guess is it wont update now either....now he did say that he restored to factory tune before anything was done to his truck at the dealer and he hasnt been able to use it since the dealership???what should i do next?????

need to fax us proof of the relfash, as it has been updated by the delaer, so we can reset it then he can update it.
