Diablo Software on laptop?

So i am going to get a custom tune on my predator and the shop wants to know if you guys have a software he can purchase to use on his laptop to tune car(s)? or it only can be done on the handheld?

There are adjustments availble onthe predator, but full tuning software is available for $2500.
