I have a huge question. If the newer predators do not accept older crom files. Then what happens if you have a 5.7 then upgrade to a 6.1 that does not have EGR.

Or what happens if someone like me has a 5.7 then upgrades to an Eagle intake or 6.1 intake? There is no EGR with those intakes? I guess it's a good thing I have an older predator. There has to be a way to to fix this? As soon as we upgrade our motors we won't be able to get rid of the thrown codes?

I love the diablo programers, but I can see you'll loose alot of business if this issue can not get fixed.. I really hope it does, or there will be no trinity in my future?



Second question, if I upgrade to the trinity, can I have my predator switched over for my 2010 Jeep?

Legally they cannot allow you to modify anything emissions related. If you want EGR turned off, you have no choice but to get a custom tune done by a CMR dealer.

The only Jeep the Predator from your Charger (u7135) will work on is an SRT8. All the others use the U7137 which uses different hardware.

Speaking only about the U7135 if you are running a CROM newer than 9r18 you can't delete EGR or the rear O2 sensors. There may be a way to downgrade back to 9r18 or 9r12 if you want that ability. It depends on what year your car is.

The techs here said that you can not downgrade the crom.
