Does not work

I have a Dodge 2500 cummins and I ordered the extreme power puck for it. The salesman made me tell him the year the truck was manufactured( 1/04 ) and how much advertised HP it had ( 325 ). He sent the 04.5 to 05 power puck and I plugged it up according to 03-06 Dodge 5.9L 24 Valve and the truck wouldnt crank, unplugged it and it cranked and ran fine. Then i hooked it up according to 04-07 Dodge Cummins 5.9L Common Rail and it cranked it drove around at a top speed of about 45mph. I turned the truck off it ran a minute then shut off. When i have it plugged up the yellow engine light comes on and the light that means i need to drain my fuel filter comes on so i have drained the water out of the fuel and it still will not crank with it plugged up. What do i need to do?
