Diablosport Predator Tunes - Please help

Post by Mo007 »

Hi Everyone,
I have 2003 2500RAM 5.9 Cummins 24V Turbo Diesel 6-cylinder, I have a Diablosport Predator U7130 + PowerPuck. I took my truck from Calgary, Alberta to the desert in Mauritania (Africa).
I spend most of the time driving off road on sand hills while carrying heavy loads, however, I never pull any thing.

My Predator is always set to the Economy Performance Tune and the PowerPuck switch is always shifted to the right side, which I don't know which Stacker tune
Since I don't know which combination is best for me, I haven't changed anything.

Please advice which combination is best for my driving conditions, your help will be very appreciated.

Thank in advance.

The stacker tunes are programmed with the programmer, so unless you are running a stacker tune that is the only way to run the tune. It sounds like you are running the puc and programmer independently of each other. The toggle switch on the puc is only for changing the pressure settings (60hp to 90hp) center is off.

Thank you ropnjessi for the info,
In case I'm running them independently, which Predator tune and Puck setting would you suggest for my driving condition?

Please help me out here, I have to go for another trip and I really need some suggestion before I leave :(

Well if it was me, I would start at the lowest settings first if you feel you need the extra power. Based on your conditions, if something broke do you have a means to get it repaired? After all I was able to break my input shaft running the puc high and Extreme programming setting.

Ya for economy try the performance tune and use the puck for an added kick or to get a load rolling. I get best milage from the rkl without timing but I drive like a grandma haha
