09 Dodge Ram Hemi with 7137 over heating truck while towing

Hi Folks !

2009 5.7 Dodge Ram Hemi 4X4
Programer U7137
9r08.crom previous/ currently updated to 9t09e today
Use 91/93 octane Diablo tunes
180* thermostat
Reduced fan settings by 20 (201* current setting on programmer)

While towing my 4500lb boat my truck will shut down due to over heating which is pretty scary when your trying to climb Coquihalla Highway in BC. I've never had this happen before with the factory stock setup. Any constructive suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Iron Byron

It only runs hot when towing?

There isnothing in the tune that should cause that, have you tried towing with the stock tune?

HI Mike! Yes it only runs hot when it's towing. I'm wondering if I should go back to the factory 203*thermostat as I dont recall it overheating stock but not a 100% sure. Best Regards, Byron
