2010 4.8 Sierra - What are my options?

Hey guys, clearly I'm new here, just wondering what my options for a decent programer are? I'm just looking for something basic, don't need anything top of the line. Just want the WOT restrictions gone and possibly some nicer shifting.

I have a 4.8 vortex with the 6 speed tranny in a 2010 Sierra EXT cab ( doubt the ext cab makes a diff but anywho)

Shoot me some ideas please.

Look into a Predator for a quick and easy tuner, or Trinity which has more advanced options and will get an update to change shift points in the near future.

I am new on the scene, as well - with a Silverado 5.3 (2010) and a Predator. What type of 'real-time' logging can I do with a laptop for a custom tune? Detailed instructions?

all data log recording is real-time... you can log with just the predator by itself...

here's info on logging:

if you want to use a laptop, you have to connect the predator to the truck.. .then connect the predator to the laptop with the usb/serial cable... then on the laptop, you'd use the DataViewer software to select the parameters to log, and to start/stop the data logging...

detailed instructions on how to use it for real-time logging are in the DataViewer Help file/menu...
