2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4 QCSB with 47RE automatic transmission. Early production unit with the 250hp CPL and 47re trans, requiring the JTEC controler for the transmission/powertrain.

I have purchased this Trinity used from a reputable diablosport retailer. The product is great so far.
There are some questions I would like to have answered.
1: The HPCR pressure reading is only available in MPa? Although I can roughly estimate MegaPascals to PSI, Why doesn't this lovely device do that for me?

2: I was hoping to recalibrate my speedometer, but have since found that it will only let me change the vehicle max speed? Is this a result of having a powertrain controler in addition to an engine controler?

3: I have created a gauge layout that I wish to use at all times, containing engine calculated load, Analog EGT input, delta boost and HPCR pressure.
The trinity does not shut down with the key. I can live with it timing itself out, even though I plan to mount this in a gauge mount and I see this as a theft issue. The immediate issue is that the trinity does not activate itself when the engine is started, and when It recieves a user input, it will bring up the monitoring page with my gauge layout, and none of them are functional. I have to tell it to exit the screen it timed out of, click on "Monitoring" select my layout, and it will bring up my gauge layout. At this point, more often times than not, "Delta Boost" says parameter unspecified (I believe), which requires exiting a second time and going back through the process. At this point it has to recalibrate the maximum values for all of the virtual gauges.
This coincides somewhat with the other thread in this forum. http://diablosport.com/index.php?name=P ... ic&t=22457
Is there a setting I have overlooked, or another work around?

4: I'm interested in the RKL files and am not sure which tune to download because of the Pre and Post 8r28 designations. I need clarification on what is compatible with the trinity. http://diablosport.com/index.php?name=P ... pic&t=1193

Thank you for any help. I'm in hopes to improve on an already awesome product.

A friend and I (another 250hp owner) are curious about the base tune used for u7130. For example, was the tune developed from a 305hp unit, taking ours to 305 hp from 250, and then addition hp added beyond that baseline?

whatever the baseline, our tunes add the advertised power on top ;)

Taken a look-see at the other questions?

I have been pushing the issue of the Trinity not restarting for months. I have spoken to Mike and Vas but have not seen any changes to the problem. I see that they have released the Trinity for the 2011 Mustang but apparently known problems with existing customers are being swept under the rug. I have been a Diablosport dealer for just short of 10 years and have had good results when problems would arise. It is sad that this type of problem with this many customers can't be resolved.

1. MPA to psi is a huge value.
2. Actually, its due to the tire size being in the ABS module.
3. I have not been able to reproduce this on an 04 or 05 in house, still investigating.
4. Use the post r28 files, and hang on ;)

1: Values >26.5K psi (which is exactly how I would show it, two digits and decimal)
2: Can this be overcome?
3: The 1R07 doesn't have the issue with the Unspecified Parameter. Just the other issue with it not reading after a key cycle. I'm sorry I didn't record what revision it had before I updated.
4: LMAO The 60hp tune was slipping the trans. Extreme is netting me mileage, anything over 30% load slips. The RKL's are just to show my buddies on the screen. :) I tried to look at the new Extreme tune, and the Triny says the custom tune doesn't match my vehicle. I DL'd the pre r28 I think. Still working on checking this out. It could be because I loaded the extreme to the vehicle, then loaded the RKL to the Trinity. I'm going to DL the right tunes in the near future.

I'm glad that you're interacting. I was starting to worry. After I loaded the Extreme Tune I had an ABS and Brake light on, drove 100 miles with it, and then it cleared after a key cycle. It didn't affect anything. Any Idea what happened?

ABS/Brake light is normal after the flash, always goes out after a bit ;)

Still looking into the feasibility of flashing tire size in the ABS module.

1R07 has changed the time required for the screen to time out. It's under 3 minutes after the key cycles off. I updated to the last incremental for U7130 last night and now I can't get to the RKL files. I'm going to load them again. I still have to kick out of monitor mode to restart my gauges after each key cycle.

Almost have my EGT probe box assembled.

I hear cricketts in here this end of the forum. I got to bench test my EGT probe adapter. So far so good. I got 2.2v output on a 9v battery source, so it should be a touch higher on 14.6v.

Any luck reproducing the issue with the monitor? After that last revision, the screen will black out very quickly when no activity is sensed. I still have to kick out of the monitor screen to get the monitor to display data.

Saving pennies for a transmission.
