Swap between 2 of same truck?

I just had this programmer given to me, it was used in exact same truck as mine except auto. He reloaded factory when he sold his truck, I loaded the Performance tune and it works good but I didn't see anything saying it did a backup of factory tune, would his still be in there and serial # or tranny doesn't matter?
Thanks

nope, if he set his back t stock, its all good, otherwise it would have given you a license error.
