Can a 2003 predator be updated for my 06

I have a predator that I used with my 2003 Ford f250. I have since traded that in on a 2006 Ford f350. Can I use the same predator, with the newest updates on my 06? Thanks.

What does the sticker on the back of the unit say?

Yes they are both 6.0 trucks.

These are older Predators that have been superceded by new part numbers a few years ago. The tools you have are U7160's and were only designed for use on the 03-04 trucks.
As a result of the constant reflashes by Ford, these U7160 tool you have are now unsupported.
The issue lies in the tools memory which is full from all of the updates that had to be done.

We have developed a hardware update for these tool which allows you to send the tool in and have it upgraded to a new U7165 tool, which is the current part number for all 03-07 6.0 Fords.
This new upgrade has way more memory than the older tools, and will continue to be updateable to support any future calibration updates from Ford.

The cost for the upgrade is $99.95+shipping.
