Just wanted to let you all know that the updated tune really woke the car up. The shifts are even smoother than I thought they would be and the response is amazing! Can't wait to buy a CAI to see what I can get out of the other tunes.
Thanks Mike for keeping in touch with me throughout the whole process. Customer service is really top notch. Keep up the good work!

RE: 2011 Mustang tune
Quick question though,
Let's say I wanted to install a steeds CAI, would I use the universal tune or would it not be as smooth as the preferred airaid tune?

RE: 2011 Mustang tune
The dyno tune you guys did on my car really out performs any of the updates that followed.I guess that's no suprise. The lastest tunes don't want to shift ,I think it's from 4 to5 at WOT.It redlines at around 156 mph at 7300 rpm or so. Will I be able to change the shift points soon? This copperhead must be a real pain to play with.

The latest updates should have shift point adjustment.budlun wrote:The dyno tune you guys did on my car really out performs any of the updates that followed.I guess that's no suprise. The lastest tunes don't want to shift ,I think it's from 4 to5 at WOT.It redlines at around 156 mph at 7300 rpm or so. RE: Re: RE: 2011 Mustang tune
Mike,
I have a question on the 2011 Mustang V6 "87 Performance" Trinity tune. Does the tune retain the "adaptive ignition timing" from the stock tune (Where the ECU will advance the ignition timing if 93 octane fuel is used)? Or is the adaptive ignition timing replaced with your own timing tables based on throttle position, rpm etc?
Whatever you have done it is a great tune! Much better transmission schedule and no noticeable "torque management!"
Thanks

We redo the timing tables so we have control, rather than allowing the adaptives to take effect.

Mike,
One more question on the 2011 Mustang V6 with the Trinity. Is it possible, using the Trinity, to just change the differential gear ratio on the Ford stock tune and run the stock tune with that as the only change?

Yes, use the modify stock tune to do that.
