Trinity docking pins damaged

Trinity T 1000,latest crom, /05 PT GT.
Went to plug in my OB2 cable to the Trinity and it wouldn't boot up. Tried a couple of more times with the same result. Brought the unit in and connected up to my PC with the USB cable...no problem with booting or display. Using a mini flashlight I checked the docking port on the Trinity for the OB2 cable and sure enough that's were the problem is. On the far right one pin connection point appears to be pushed back and the one just left to that is bent and lifted. In short the pin housing looks buggered. I also wonder if there is a problem with the OB2 cable which led to this . So the next are obvious Q's ...is it repairable or replaceable under warranty? Unit is aprox. 6 mths old and purchased from Mopac. By the way... just recently installed the 93 oct tune onto my S1 PCM and am in the middle of tuning the car for STknock etc. ... HELP!!!

Thanx...sent form and waiting for confirmation. Guess I should just take the OB2 cable back to the dealer, show them the Trinity and explain what's happening, and hopefully they will do a swap.

First check to see if your unit is still under warranty. The guys from DS were really quick with my unit .

Just wanted to say thanks , pass it on if you will, to the guys at the shop for the quick repair and return on my Trinity unit. It is once again working fine and with the fuel I have added this week the PT is now out of the danger zone. The stknock has dropped to -1 degree at 10.22psi boost which is still not WOT. Even more than that ....she freakin pulls great. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

same problem here, two pins are damaged, no power-up in the car...
seems like that is a common problem for the trinity

I try to unplug the Trinity as infrequently as possible to prevent this kind of thing.
