Never had Trinity working 100%

Ok, Ive got a 04 Dodge Ram HEMI.
When i got the Trinity everything seemed to work ok with CROM 1r07a but then later found out when i tried to connect my wide band (Innovate LC-1) it would lock the Trinity completely. I tried going to 1r07b but kept getting PCM/TCM Calid issues.
I called Tech Supp and was told to go back to 1r07a. Eventually I had to send in my Trinity and they (jimb) did a special CROM that allowed me to run and use my Trinity and wide band. But then after logging and sending out my logs to get new tunes, when I got ready to load the tune it read my trucks PCM wasnt right (more Calid issues) and so it forced me to restore my original tune. I though no big deal, i can just go through the process like a first setup. But no, it kept kicking back Calid issues.
So with no truck running, I called T/S the next morning. Mike suggests going to new CROM 1r07c. I admit was leery to do so because I didnt want to lose my ability to use my wide band as this was crucial in getting my tunes right.
So I went to 1r07c and it worked and I can use my wide band. But now, there are new issues which make it not usable.
Originally and from the beginning always left the Trinity connected in and to the OBD port and device. Ive read where continuous disconnect and reconnect can cause issues especially where the cord plugs into the Trinity and I can see how with it being so small, this and delicate.
But I use to be able to get in the truck, start it up and drive and monitor everything with no issues.
Now, with this latest CROM (1r07c) I cannot do this. Sure I have a working Trinity and wide band but if I want to log or use the device at all, I have to completely disconnect it, start the engine and then connect the device.
That doesnt sound too bad right? Except for the fact that after a few minutes it seems to loose connection to the truck and I get an error that says "data stream has stopped. Waiting for engine start." There is a button at the bottom that says "Halt monitoring". There is one amber LED that will flash.
Well if I push that nothing happens. Disconnect the cable and reconnect and it wont let me do anything without shutting down the engine with the tool disconnected, restarting the engine and then plugging back in the device.
I might be able to log for a short time or a long time. Its never the same. I checked the cable and they are both ends are fully seated and connected. The issue seems to be with the new CROM.
So what do I have to do to get a $600 tuner working 100% and be stable???
