C5 Z06 New User Question
Have a U7198X with newest revision for a 2002 Z06. Only real mod is a VaraRam CAI installed just before buying the Preditor. I began trowing a lean bank 1 and 2 code after installing the CAI as I knew I would. I installed the performance tune and still had the code. I followed 06 MonteSS excellent tutorial to fix the lean code by tweaking the injector slope but now I am throwing a knock sensor code instead. Looking for any ideas on the mod to fix (not just clear) that code. I didn't make a severe adjustment to the injector slope. Thanks!

The car has been under the cover since late October (I live in Chicago) but if I remember correctly we went from +1 to -1. Everything felt great other than the knock sensor code. We don't hear or feel any knock but the sensor seems to. I just plowed 6 inches of snow (in addition to the 3 i plowed yesterday) so the Blue beast won't be going anywhere for a few months. I would just like to be prepared for that first nice spring day. I also went to the site DiabLew and looked at his $105.00 offer to do a custom. Seems like it may be the way to go although I would like to get proficient at using the Predator. Thanks-Ian
yeah, definitely wouldn't cause knock with that adjustment...

I hear ya about the snow... I'm in CT, and we're getting 12-20 inches of snow today!! Blizzard and white-out conditions!! woohoo!!! the john deere is all gassed up and ready to go!! Bring it on!! hehe...

Yeah not sure on the knock. Once the snow melts I will be back in touch and get you the files you need to send the tune. I need someone to remind me why I live in a place where I can't enjoy my car 4-5 months a year. Looking at it under the cover all winter really bums me out! Somehow the Doge minivan does not light my fire.
