Rev limit in gear

What is this, I have adjusted mine to max setting and truck still shifts around 5400 rpm's.
09 Silverado RCSB 5.3, 4x4
99 Corvette, 6 gear
2000 Suzuki Hayabusa
2002 Honda Goldwing

i´m also interested what does this option mean or help to tune my car becasue i can not get rid of the speed limiter in my 09 yukon denali with the software release r18

if you want to hit the higher rev limit you set, then you have to shift the vehicle manually... if you just put it in Drive and go, it will still shift at it's normal rpm's...

have to manually shift to hold the gears longer in order to get to the higher rpm limit you set...
