question about getting 9R01 or newer update?????

i apologize if this is disgussed on the forum already, i looked but did not see the answere i needed. . .

i have a predator(U7198) for my 01 camaro ss. i recently purchased the usb cable and power source and registered to the diablosport site, and installed the DSDOWNLOADER AND DATAVIEWER 3.3 so i can start downloading updates and data log. after a little fighting with it i see that i have an old 2.xx revision and i see that i need the 9R01 or newer to update. is this also the reason i cant datalog? i see on the site where it states a trip back to the dealer is needed to aquire the 9R01 update but i live on the hawaii island of oahu and dont see a dealer here that supports gm. what do i do?

I'm a novice at this but I think the only way you can update to the newer revision is to send the tool back in to Diablosport. Cost is $99.

correct.. that old model tool can not data log, and you can not download the internet updates...

you have to ship it to Diablosport, not a diablo dealer... a diablo dealer can not to the upgrade... only diablosport themselves can do it...

you would have to send it in to diablosport to get it upgraded to the new version tool for the $99 upgrade program...
