Data Log Delete

Post by Ruggybuggy »

How do you delete a data log stored in the Predator? I was playing around with it and logged an event that is not needed. Getting ready to log for a custom tune and don't want this meaningless log.

Thanks,

download the copy of it to your PC using the dataviewer software...

then you can just record a new data log and it will overwrite that other one...

Thanks for the reply. Just getting familiar with the tools before I contact you about the custom tune. Won't be able to do it until the roads clear of snow. We got another 8" today. Makes it impossible to do any WOT runs. The tires keep braking loose.

haha.. I hear ya... have had 5 feet - yes, 60" of snow here for the month of January... 3-4 feet of it is still on the ground... hehe

but, don't need logs for the initial custom tune revision...

after I send you the first revision and you install it, then you'll put on about 50 miles, and then you'd do the steady driving/cruising data log....

no WOT stuff until we get part-throttle dialed in first... ;)

When I do my log, do I choose "fast data" or "slow data"? Do you need "long term fuel trim bank 2"? 2000 Sierra 4.8 with 2 cats going into 3" then dual out of Magnaflow. Also I notice a "lreset" what's that about? I choose this while the truck was running and the fuel gauge went to empty even though the tank had 3/4's in it. I reinstalled the tune and everything is good.

you want the FAST DATA RATE

yes, your truck has 2 banks, so you have to log both ltft bank 1 and ltft bank 2...

here's what you need to log:

Long Term fuel trim bank 1 = under FUEL menu

Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 2 = under FUEL menu

Spark Advance = under IGNITION menu

Intake air Temp = under INTAKE menu

MAF Sensor Mass Air Flow = under INTAKE menu

Knock Retard = under MISFIRE menu

Engine Speed (RPM) = under PERFORMANCE menu

Absolute Throttle Position = under THROTTLE menu

you need to select and log these parameters for your 2010 truck:

Air Fuel Ratio (Equivalence Ratio) = Under FUEL menu

Long Term fuel trim bank 1 = under FUEL menu

Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 2 = under FUEL menu

Spark Advance = under IGNITION menu

Intake air Temp = under INTAKE menu

MAF Sensor Mass Air Flow = under INTAKE menu

Total Knock Spark Retard = under MISFIRE menu

Engine Speed (RPM) = under PERFORMANCE menu

Commanded Throttle position = under THROTTLE menu
