I am going to do afermarket exhaust with no Cats (Off road only )and I want to know about custome tuning so I dont have any check engine lights, I have read a lot about Diablolew and was curious what provisions he could to to the programmer, I also have problems with the traction control, when I turn it off it still tries to cut the throttle. Please let me know.

this is a 5.3L GM Gas vehicle right??? just curious... cuz of the mods listed in your sig being for a diesel, heh...
Yes, you'd need to get a custom tune done to disable the trouble codes for the rear O2 sensors, the cats, and can also disable the COT as well since you are removing the cats completely...
As for the traction control, if you're turning it off via the swich, then most likely it is the "axle abuse mode" kicking in on you - which is what you feel... there are a couple different nannies that gm uses, heh...
both of those can be completely disabled in a custom tune as well...
Thanks for the response, Yes I have a diesel also that I have all the mods on and the GMC is my wifes rig and it is now time to turn it up. I have not bought a programmer yet becuase I wanted to make sure that some safties could be removed first, I will order one today if you can build me a custome tune.

If you just press it once it only disables the traction control not the stabilitrak. Hold the traction control button for more than five seconds to turn off both the traction control and the stabilitrak. Messages on the DIC will confirm that they are off.

That is the Optima Battery Pickup, they have a race car in the SORC. It is a 2010 Duramax lifted on 38s and satalite tv, completly tricked out with train horns. DynotuneUSA even came up this year with their portable dyno for the race.
