Can you get the original backup of your vehicle with a trinity without doing a tune to it first? I need it to send in to get a custom tune.... The instructions said to hook up to vehicle the first time and click on performance and then it would get a original vehicle backup to the device. Everything happened up to step 4 never happened....Step 4: The Trinity will begin to save an “Original Backupâ€

It always reads the stock tune prior to loading a performance tune. Once it has, it says original backup has been saved, then it will ask you if you want to load the tune you selected.
