I have a 2011 silverado 2500 with the 6.0L gas engine and i am having trouble installing the tuner even with the new updates. I'm getting error code seed 1. It does have a carr alarm and low jack dealer installed/ anyone have ANY luck installing the tuner on their truck?

This indicates the PCM is accidentally locked by GM, and will need an update from the dealer before it can be flashed again.

i have a 2011 chevy 2500hd 4x4 6.0 auto. After reading the post i took my truck to lone star chevrolet in Teague TX and had the computer updated. they totally flashed my computer and put the latest update in. I asked them if the computer could have been locked and the gm teck didnt know. he said if it was his snap on scanner wouldnt work either. he used his snap on scanner to check for a intermittent misfire i claimed i had that doesnt exist. with this said i have a trinity updated to the latest showing my truck in the menu. Im still getting failed cut root seed error -1. is there a fix/

Sorry.... havent been on in awhile. I Just saw the posts about the G on the Vin's 8th digit and mine does have that problem. I have Tried everything. I Use the gauge pod and love the features and am waiting untill the issue is resolved. I Currently have a airaid cold air and flow master 50 series exhaust. If You need a test car i am willing to help out or if you have a fix I am willing to give it a try. please advise. Vin 1gc1kycg0bf128034. As of today I should have updates on my ecm since the dealership currently has my truck due to an ac hose leak

Where are you located?
As soon as we can get our hands on a PCM we should be able to add support.
Thanks

you would need to bring your truck to Delray Beach Florida so that they could have it for a day or two...
or, mail them your ecm module...

you need to call them...
and no, I wouldn't be able to put a custom tune on it.. I'm 2500 miles away from diablo... heh...
and I do my custom tuning as a side job... can email me at
[email protected] for info... and/or check out
http://www.diablewtune.com
once they get support for your truck, yes, I'd be able to do a custom tune for ya...

The issue described here has nothing to do with what you are running into.
This is about a 2011 truck that has an unsupported PCM in it, which we advertise as not being supported currently, totally different.
