I hate having to come on a board for the first time, and it be a negative comment/feedback.
I received my Diablo sport tuner today. Did as instructions said, plug in, and then of course it says it needs an update. Well I looked into it, and of course I see how I am suppose to do this. But what bothers me, is this is suppose to be a plug and play tuner, Hence says right on the box. Not only that, but if diablo knows there is a problem with this, then why not supply the correct cord to be able to download the correct file for your tune? But instead, I have to take a trip to radio shack or best buy and buy a cord. Or order it from you guys, and wait another two weeks for it to arrive like I did for the hand held tuner...
And what really ticks me off, is I have a lap top that probably will not work for this download process due to it being a small HP carry along.
Not happy
RE: Not happy
Mopar updates their software 5-6 times per model year. Theres no way Diablo can have their dealers update the tuners every time Mopar does. The cords are always considered a highly recommended item, and most dealers tell you that (some include them in a package). The only reason they aren't included is because some people either already have them, or would prefer to get them cheaper on eBay from overseas.
