New Zex Wet NOS Kit for the 3.5l Challenger

Post by ggaliano »

Im planing on installing the new Zex NOS Kit for the 3.5L Challenger, this is a 75-125 shot Kit, my plans are to install the 75 Shot and leave it at that. I was wondering if the 93 canned tune, if the timing was correct, or if I would need it retarded some, and can my predator retard timing without a custom tune?

Thanks for your help.

I took at look at this kit. I think you'd be fine, as it adds fuel (Wet kit). Data log it a run after install, if you see any Knock, go ahead and take away a few degrees of spark. Their install videos on youtube for the kit say under 100 shot on 91 and you shouldn't need to pull timing. I would think with 93 fuel you'll be fine.

Thank you for your input. Staying with the 75shot will give me pretty much what I'm after with minimum engine risk, I'm not looking for Hemi power here, just a little more kick from my modded 3.5, I will put colder plugs in, but leave the timing for now. Hopefully ill install the kit in a few weeks, waiting for the weather to break, and will let you know how it goes.

Again, thanks for the information.
