yes... you'll gain some better throttle response and acceleration...

and a custom tune done for it will make it even better...

What is involved with a custom tune and is it expensive?
Also why do these trucks come thru like this the dodge and ford are the same as well?
Thank you for your help I think this is great that you back up your product like this.

So if I have to go to dealer I would reinstall factory tune, then when I get truck back I will be able to reinstall custom tune again? The custom tune will be saved?
I am buying the U7194 from Dons speedshop in Newington CT. is he a reputable dealer?
Thank You for all your help.

When you go to the dealer you WILL restore factory back up, this way if there are any updates for your truck, the installed tune won't be erased.
When you get home from the dealer, reinstall your tune of choice.
The custom tune will be saved to your Predator.

When you say custom tune will be saved to predator do you mean the relash from dealer??

no...

whenever you restore original backup to a vehicle, the custom tune gets erased from the tool...

so when you get the vehicle back, you will HAVE to install one of the diablo tunes to the vehicle first, so that the tool saves a copy of the original backup in it... you can't import a custom tune to the tool if it does not have the original backup saved in it first.

THEN you will need to import the custom tune back into the tool...

and then you can reinstall the custom tune to the vehicle...

I think I'm using custom tune incorrectly. I mean the factory tune.
If the dealer updates the factory tune, and I get the truck back I install diablo tune, the tool will upload and save backup from dealer correct? The tool will not save old back up it will save newest back up from dealer correct?
Sorry about the confussion. 06MonteSS does custom tunes, correct?
Thank You I hope I got it right.
Thank You
Tom
