Fox body with stock A9L and 90mm lmaf

I have a 89LX I'm running a stock A9L with a 90mm Lightning meter. The car will fire then die right away due to the MAF transfer I would think will the MAFia be able to do anything for my car alone without a tune I just want to get my car running. I will have it dyno tuned later its not a daily driver so I just need it to run. If so would I need the pigtail as I have a 4 to 6 pin adpt already on the car. Thanks, Paul.
