Charger won't Start

Post by Dmoney1009 »

Just updated my t1000 with the 1r08, It will not aloow me to modify the tune. It will try to install and come back and say tune was not fully installed. I tried to redo it and then now it can't read my pcm. WTF. Also the car wont start now. I don't see why you ask guys to view this forum when I dont see no solution accept call in and reset these damn things. You guys need to work on a emergency hotline or on weekends or someting. Im suck stranded at the house for the whole weekend. Im sure you guys make decent money with these to hire more people. Go to labor ready or something there is always people aviable to work there. Or have a universal code to unlock this damn things.

I had a problem on a weekend also. These guys do have lives and don't always have the free time to reply instantly. Sorry to hear about your problem. I am sure Monday morning when everyone gets back to work you will have a intelligent answer you seek.

Well I called in and they reset my tuner but it still cant read the vehilce vin nor put the stock tune back on.. had it towed to the dealer today and my pcm fried thanx diablo. I blame the new update that baby was working all good till i did that update and fucked my shit. By the way this happen on both my charger and challenger srt8's... Guess what I have to pay now to get new pcms about 1300 tax and labor included. And my challenger only had 1200 miles. Gotta love it huh.. NOT.. i also live in hawaii where I am fucked again cause they dont keep parts in stock over here for these types of vehicle so now I'll be stuck driving a chevy Aveo rental... good thing I got a BMW S1000rr for those non rainy days. If anyone know a good place where I can get 2 pcm's for a decent price it would be appreciated. Also up for sale is a t1000 if anyone instrerested.

Please do not pay for new PCMs.

I will call tag your PCMs and fix them here, they are NOT fried.
Nothing we do can cause such damage to a vehicle.

I am curious as to how you had this issue on 2 vehicles, when nobody else has had a similar issue, but again, please do not pay that ridicculous price for PCMs that cost $250 in the real world.

The V8 ones are in Jersey and run $125-$150. 2008-2009 only are showing in the Interchange.

There piece of shit fried my microprocessor on my PCM... Stay away from that r108 update from trinity. They have no support for their products besides a reset.

Which part of me offering to call tag your PCM and repair to for free is no support?

The Trinity never has, and never will, 'fry a microprocessor'. If such a thing did indeed occur, it was a hardware issue on the PCM itself.
It is more likely that the PCM simply needed to be reflashed, and that the dealer could not figure it out, so they call it fried and replace it.
I promise you we would have reflashed it and sent it back, in fact, is the 'fried' unit available?
Id love to fix it for you.

Thanks

I have no words to describe how sorry I am for what you have gone through. I certainly don't understand it... especially on 2 vehicles ???

I had a problem with the OBD receptacle in my Trinity (contact pins pushed back inside the receptacle and it wouldn't power up in the vechicle), sent the tool to Diablo and they repaired it with NO charge.

Needless to say, I was extremely pleased with their customer service and timely response to my problem.

The 1r08 update and my stock tune were in the tool at the time, so I notified Diablo to please NOT reset the tool.

When I got the tool back, I loaded the stock tune back into my SRT Challenger and took the car to the dealer for a warranty repair. The dealer flashed my PCM with an update.

When I went to put the Diablo tune back in the car, the tool said that that it needed a CALID update.

I plugged my tool into my PC, downloaded and installed the calid and and then went and installed the Perf Tune in my car. For me, every thing went perfectly.

Again, I'm very sorry that this happened to you and I can't imagine that it was caused by you Trinity, but then again, I don't have a crystal ball so who knows. I too have never heard of such a thing before.

It sounds as if Diablo is willing to bend over backwards to help you.

Best of luck to you ny friend.
