I have the Diablosport U7193 for my 2004 GTO. When I plug it in to the car the exact name of the tune options i have are:
Diablo Tune
Factory HP Tune
Original Backup
....

I was talking to 06MonteSS and this is what he said to me:

"you should have the following tune choices...

Diablo Tune (which is made for 93 octane gas)

91 Octane Tune

Factory HP Tune (which is just a copy of your original stock backup tune)


if you don't have those two different tune options at the top, then I'd contact diablosport... make a post in the forum..."


is my tuner pulling up the right tunes?

I don't have a 93 or 91 tune, just the diablo tune. The canned tune for my truck was better than after I ran a log through Redux and adjusted my injector slope. What a joke. I reset the defaults and my truck is running hard again.

The Diablo Tune for a GTO is for a minimum of 91 octane.

Ok, see I thought I could only use 93 octane with the diablo tune with mine... so then what is the difference between Factory HP Tune and the Original Backup?

aaah, you have a 2004 gto... didn't notice that... sorry man... yeah, the 2004's will only have the Diablo Tune...

the 05 and 06 gto's have the two separate diablo and 91 octane tunes...

oh its all good man. as long as its working properly then i don't have any problem haha...

so it is ok to use 91 octane on the diablo tune correct?
