I have this same problem!! When I tried to restore the backup up it says-"Restore Original Backup now?" so I hit yes
next page says "This will restore the Original Backup and will reset this tool." I hit choose.
next page says "Not tuning vehicle because of backup (4)" I hit continue
next page says "Backup in tool appear to be corrupt!"

How do I get my stock GM tune back????
